American Horror Story Characters At Their Best For The All New Freak Show

Along with the new trailer, there are a lot of other new things in American Horror Story. American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere on Oct. 8 on FX and shall consist of several stars, including, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Michael Chiklis, Emma Roberts, Denis O’Hare and Frances Conroy.
American Horror Story’s creator, Ryan Murphy, who has a lot to share about the upcoming fourth season of the show, says, “’At every freak show, you have the tropes but there’s some [that are] unique and weird. It’s about something: It’s about outcasts and how society at that time … true stories about circus performers who were cast aside. The story in many ways dovetails with Asylum, because they leave one era and you can see many of them in real life were put into asylums. There’s a great symmetry we’ve come up with that’s rewarding.”
Murphy also adds, “It’s darker than Coven; it feels very unique. 
I directed the first one and I haven’t done that since the very first one of season one. It feels like a Douglas Sirk movie; it’s very 1952 presentational and then the horror is an unexpected jab. As opposed to last year, which was crazy camera work and comedy. This year feels different. The special-ability cast that we have is amazing and I feel so thrilled because for so many of them, it was their dream to be actors and they didn’t have any opportunities. There’s a great community. They feel part of something perhaps for the first time in their life and that’s an amazing thing that I was really emotional about when I was directing them.”
So far, the upcoming season seems to have the potential of becoming the best season of American Horror Story thus far. Several interesting characters have been revealed. Kathy Bates will be the famous bearded lady, Sarah Paulson will be portrayed as the Siamese twins, Dot and Bette, Jessica Lagne is going to play the ring leader of the freak show. Michael Chiklis and Evan Peters (casted as Kathy and Michael’s son) are playing the world’s strongest men, Angela Bassett might just be a fortuneteller but look closely to comprehend the freak within her. Sadly, Emma Robert, along with some other cast members, is missing from the poster. And in addition to all this, we now know that Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley will be appearing as guest stars in this season.
And in case you are wondering, the words in the hashtag on the poster, ‘#WirSindAlleFreaks,’ translates to We are all freaks.
