It has been announced last October that the hit Emmy Award winning TV show American Horror Story has been renewed for another season. It has been announced that the next installment of American Horror Story would be American Horror Story: Hotel. Could the baffling death of Elise Lam be the set up for American Horror Story: Hotel?

There have been teasers but no one knows yet exactly what American Horror Story: Hotel will be about. A new speculation links in together the modern and historical connotation of what the upcoming new season might be akin to.

Fans have had their speculations for a while, but Ryan Murphy has verified it in an interview last year that all the different seasons subsist contained by the same world. They are all interconnected with each other.

All these different seasons have had the same assembly cast but it was not until Pepper and Sister Mary Eunice, who have emerged in different seasons, have appeared in season four’s Freak Show that things fell into place. The different worlds are intertwined even though each individual season is still quite distinct.

“They’re all connected. We’re just beginning to tell you how they’re connected. They’re all very separate but there are clues every season that we’re now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined,” he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

So we can positively be expecting further interconnectedness as the diverse worlds of American Horror Story start to smash together.

Apart from information on the fact that all the seasons are being connected, it is also safe to say that the recurring cast will be back again. American Horror Story veteran Sarah Paulson is at present running on Murphy’s series American Crime Story and according to news reports the Sarah Paulson “really loves” her fresh character.

Whether Jessica Lange will be returning is still not clear for everyone though – we are still keeping our fingers crossed.

Remember that persistent shot of a top hat on a coffee cup in Freak Show? Well, it turns out that it is a great indication and will shed light on something enormous – just what that is, we are not entirely sure yet.

It sounds as if it is an indication to the 1935 musical comedy Top Hat, which is took place in a hotel. It is also an allusion to Lady Gaga’s collaborative album with Tony Bennett called Cheek-to-cheek, which itself is a song from Top Hat. Could we be expecting a full on musical for American Horror Story Hotel?

HuffPost Entertainment earlier claimed theories that American Horror Story: Hotel could have an association to the Garden of Allah Hotel. Denis O’Hare’s Stanley referenced it in “Freak Show,” telling the freaks he had a cousin who worked at the famous Hollywood hotel. Opening in 1927 and torn down in 1959, the Garden of Allah was the celebrity hotspot of its day. Recurrent guests and occupants included F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Dorothy Parker, Greta Garbo, Humphrey Bogart, Gloria Stuart and the Marx brothers.

Fans are definitely looking forward to the next intallment of this TV series. American Horror Story: Hotel will be airing on FX in October with filming getting in progress in July.
