Fan are happy and excited with the announcement earlier this year that their favorite show, Sleepy Hollow, has been renewed for a third season. While details of what will be of the third season has still not been disclosed, Tom Mison shares his thoughts on what he wishes to happen. When Sleepy Hollow Season 3 returns, the show may be indulging fans to a motorcycle-riding Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills, if lead star Tom Mison were to have it his way.

Tom Mison was asked about what he was eager to look forward to in the upcoming season of the show and he openly shared his thoughts and wishes. “I would like to see the Ichabbie-mobile. Maybe Abbie riding the motorbike and Ichabod riding the side car, that’s how they get around,” said the much loved Sleepy Hollow actor.

The actor also referred to what he deemed was a highlight of the last season, his meeting Bejamin Franklin, that made him think of an episode. “I hope… we’ll see much more of him… I’d like to see an 18th century heist with Ichabod, Jefferson, and Franklin. Mainly because I’d like to see Steven Weber (Thomas Jefferson) and Tim Busfield (Ben Franklin) bickering while picking a safe. That’s my dream,” articulated Tom Mison who plays Ichabod Crane.

These fancies are yet be granted by new show runner Clifton Campbell who was hired by Fox to provide the history-twisting time-travelling show another 18 episodes in the upcoming third season. New show runner, Campbell has produced White Collar, another series known for its story twists that spin around an FBI fugitive who manifests into a source, and The Glades, where a lethargic town turns up dead bodies to the shock of a homicide detective who moved there to run away from his accustomed crime scenes.

Campbell is supposed to keep hold of Sleepy Hollow’s serialized rudiments such as the story of the Headless Horseman and the fight in opposition to evil, even though it has been reported that the next Sleepy Hollow will have less of the serialized plots and more of standalone episodic plots as Fox hopes to revert to its lost footing from the triumphant fast-paced, tightly-woven story of the genre series that was Season 1.

TV Line has also discovered that Sleepy Hollow will be moving the filming location of the show to Atlanta as a replacement for of the season 1 and 2 set in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Sleepy Hollow was co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman.

For quite a while there was discussion that Sleepy Hollow would not get renewed mainly because of what Variety reports as the dismal slide in ratings from the 11.1  million viewers it had when it debuted in season 1, going down to 7.1 million in the second season. Hopefully the third season will pick up on its numbers.

Fans will have to wait quite a while for more of Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills. Sleepy Hollow Season 3 will debut in the fall on Fox television.
