The trailer gives out some new pieces of information. Especially, seeing Jenny safe and sound comes as a relief to me. Luckily, Jenny clearly states that, “But on the bright side, we are not dead yet.” Thus, she not only survives the crash, but is also not just another walking dead, as suspected once. And Abbie is clearly going to reunite with her fellow witness and things are going smooth between them so far, we are not sure whether Abbie is yet aware of the fact that their biggest enemy has turned out to be Crane Junior. ghjgugThere might be some rough patches and friction between the witnesses, but their relationship is beyond the petty issues, as Len Wiseman comments on their bond, saying “It continues to evolve. … It’s the heart of the show.” Since, Abbie is teamed up with Ichabod, we just know that she is in sound hands and shall get out of purgatory soon enough. Even though, Tom Mison stated that, “We give you long enough to enjoy me being in a box and Nicole running around purgatory. There shall be much struggle and hustle as the witnesses put an effort to escape the horrid situations they are literally stuck in. As Beharie puts it, “You’ll see different sides of them, trying to figure their way out of it.”

The new teaser revealed is that Jenny and Abbie’s mother is the possible initiation point, from where the demonic link starts. Nicole stated that Abbie’s mother was tormented by demons and was perceived as crazy by the surrounding people, very much like Jenny. Their mother had supernatural ties and her introduction will reveal much about the reason for Abbie being a witness and Jenny being affected by demons, the way she is. Abbie’s family is going to be highlighted much more this season and as for the sisterly bond between Abbie and Jenny, there will be a lot of ups and downs there. BtbyKklIIAACu_ENicole told TVLine, “They’re a lot closer because they’ve faced the tribulations, and they’re learning more about their family — mom, dad, all that kind of stuff. But a few people step into the situation and put a wrench into it, and they end up butting heads.” Apparently, it starts off better than it did last season but eventually begins to deteriorate, thanks to Henry, as John Noble mentions, his character will “Destroys towns, relationships and societies.” This season Henry will have large influence over Sleepy Hollow as he will be a lawyer, manipulating the town’s people. As Mison quotes, “He masquerades as a lawyer. He becomes a respectable member of society and starts planting seeds of doubt,”

Moreover, there will be the introduction of Nick Hawley, played by Matt Barr. Nick has past ties with Jenny but he will now be seen more inclined towards the other sister. Nick is very different from both the witnesses. Goffman describes him by saying, “They complement each other well. He has a completely different point of view in the world. He doesn’t care. When you talk to him about the Apocalypse, he’s like, ‘Which one?’ He’s not worried about that, he’s much more out for himself and living for the moment. Twentieth Century Fox Television's Comic-Con Stars & Producers Cocktail Party - Comic-Con International 2014I think that actually part of the reason we came up with this character was because …there’s so much weight of the world on our characters with the Apocalypse — we didn’t want it to always feel heavy. We need that levity, we need to show that life still is going on.” Apart from this, Clancy Brown, who plays Sheriff Corbin, will reappear in the show’s sixth episode, titled, ‘And the Abyss Gazes Back’.

Katrina’s character will see the light of day this season as she gets out of purgatory finally and is much closer to Ichabod now and we will even get to see her show off her witchy skills. Katia Winter mentioned that this season people will get a further insight into the love story of Ichabod and Katrina. Things get more interesting when both of their ex-lovers drop hell on them.  Katia Winter describes her relationship with the headless of death/Abraham as being of the “Beauty and the Beast” genre. On the other hand, we will be joined by Heather Lind who will play the part of Ichabod’s fiancée is now the taken the form of one Weeping Lady.
